Michael McCann, CSP became the first snow removal contractor from the State of Michigan to be
named a Nationally Certified Snow Professional in June of 2002. Since that time, Mike has been
very active in the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA). Mike was recently elected to the
Board of Director's, is the Education Committee Chair, and sits on the Certification Committee
which oversees the Certified Snow Professional program.
Mike would like to put his 20 years of knowledge and experience in the snow and ice management
industry to work for you. Mike will help you write site specific bid specifications, write contract
language, develop WIN-WIN relationships with contractor's, develop plans for equipment use,
develop plans for personnel use, develop an understanding of how, when, and why de-icers work
and the costs associated with them, and the use of sub-contractor's.
This service is available to property managers and contractors. All fees will be individually based.
